You know, it must be really hard for
webmasters to come up with new ways of presenting teen
and twink sites. There are so many of them, so many
sexy, smooth young boys willing to pose and be filmed
and surely there is only so much you can do with a set
of content? Well, About My Boys has found a new
way of making what could have been a 'same old same old'
twink site refreshing and exciting. This is more than
just videos and galleries, in fact there is so much more
to it that it's going to be hard to outline it all but,
as it's you, I will try.
Let's get the basics out of the way first. You're
looking for some youthful twinks that you've not seen on
line before? Well, there are plenty here. All in the 18
to 25 age range with the emphasis on the younger looking,
smoother and more innocent lad. Galleries contain large
amounts of individual images, they are mainly solo sets
but with a fair smattering of couples too. The videos
are all downloadable in zip files which you can unpack
later and contain solo and action movies of various
lengths. The movie making was fine and there's a link

So, standard stuff and what you would expect from a
twink site. But here's where it starts to get really
interesting. For a start the site only fired up in
November 2007 but already has enough content to warrant
the membership fee, but it is the other extras that give
you added value for money. You'll notice the 'Interactive'
area link on the main pages, this will take you over to
a place where you can get more involved with the site.
There is a 'backstage' area with clips from the making
of some of the movies with information and pics; there
is a behind the scenes diary which will tell you
honestly how shoots went, what's coming up and which
gives you a real insight to the making of the site;
there is a forum where members can register (free)
and log in to chat to other members and leave messages;
and there are polls running so you can cast votes on who
is your favourite boy and what you think of the site,
among other things. A good set of interactive features
and the more you use them the more you will get from
your site.
There is also a web cam area of the site and you can
have archives running in your pages while you browse, if
the featured lad is off line during the time of your
visit. There is a newsletter you can sign up to, to make
sure you get regular news on what's going on and there
are simple to use contact forms and contact details. All
this is neatly designed with toon style graphics and
easy to navigate pages, galleries and areas.
Bottom Line:
Here is a huge amount of original twink and teen content
that is well made and easy to access. It's growing all
the time in terms of numbers and the quality is good.
But on top of that you have some innovative interactive
features, lots of them too, and plenty of chance to get
involved and make this site what you want it to be. And
on top of all that... the boys are gorgeous.
